DALI EPICON 8

The Epicon 8 represents the pinnacle of the Epicon series, a three-way floor-standing speaker designed to deliver exceptional sound performance and an immersive listening experience. Its imposing structure houses five drivers: two 200 mm woofers with characteristic dark red wood-fiber cones, each with its own separate enclosure, a 165 mm midrange for the mid frequencies, and a high-frequency section composed of a 29 mm soft-dome silk tweeter and a ribbon tweeter that extends the response beyond 15,000 Hz, ensuring clarity, extension, and superior detail.

The cabinet construction reflects the same meticulous attention to detail that defines the entire Epicon series: six layers of MDF reinforced with 63 internal bracing elements, all precisely machined with computer-controlled equipment, create an extremely solid structure that resists internal resonances and standing waves. The 33 mm front panel integrates seamlessly with the curved side walls, providing stability and optimizing acoustic performance.

The Epicon 8 offers bi-wiring capability, with two separate pairs of terminals for the high- and mid/low-frequency sections, allowing dedicated amplification for each frequency range and improving overall dynamics and sound quality.
