SONUS FABER OLYMPICA III G3

Three-way floorstanding speakers with a bass reflex enclosure, belonging to the third generation of the Olympica series. The design incorporates solutions developed for the Suprema system and combines a three-way acoustic configuration with a slender cabinet featuring the characteristic lute shape.

The high-frequency section uses a 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point Extended Frequency tweeter with a silk dome. The midrange section features a 165 mm Camelia midrange driver, derived from technology developed for Suprema and housed in a sealed acoustic chamber made of natural cork, designed to reduce resonances and maintain a particularly transparent reproduction of vocals and instruments.

The low-frequency section is handled by two 165 mm woofers, designed to provide extended response and adequate control in the lower range. The frequency response reaches 35 Hz, while the bass reflex configuration contributes to extending low-frequency reproduction.

The cabinet retains the characteristic lute shape of the Olympica series and is made of real wood, with new 45°-angled veneers. The structure also incorporates machined aluminium elements and construction solutions designed to minimise unwanted vibrations. The cabinet proportions, together with the driver configuration, are designed to provide a wide and precise soundstage.

The Olympica III G3 are intended for Hi-Fi and High-End systems and are designed to reproduce a variety of musical genres and recordings, from acoustic performances and orchestral music to contemporary productions.
