The horn is carefully shaped to limit directivity and maintain a linear frequency response even off-axis, while the phase plug and rear damping cap on the motor reduce internal reflections and control high frequencies, resulting in a smooth, fluid musical presentation with zero listening fatigue.

The midrange is handled by a 16 cm driver with a paper diaphragm and small pleat suspension, a solution that embodies Triangle’s philosophy of tonal transparency and natural vocal reproduction free of coloration. The low-end is powerful and tightly controlled, thanks to two SVA sandwich-structured drivers—a sophisticated combination of fiberglass and cellulose pulp, computer-optimized to provide the ideal balance of lightness, rigidity, and damping. The LHS2 cooling system complements the structural efficiency of the TRIANGLE Magellan Cello. Each die-cast aluminum basket includes a heat-conducting ring directly connected to the magnetic core, efficiently dissipating the heat generated during playback.
