The Totem Forest introduces the listener to a rich and immersive sonic universe, designed to deliver power, tonal accuracy, and outstanding articulation. It is a loudspeaker that moves effortlessly across all musical genres and integrates seamlessly into both stereo systems and high-end multichannel or A/V setups, creating a rare balance between spatial imaging and dynamic impact that goes beyond common expectations. Every driver used is developed specifically for Totem and is the result of proprietary design. The drivers are engineered in-house and manufactured to extremely strict standards by the world’s finest component suppliers; in some cases, when the required technology exceeds their capabilities or must remain confidential, Totem builds the drivers directly. The result is sound reproduction that emphasizes phase linearity, fast transient response, emotional involvement, natural off-axis performance, and exceptional spatial articulation.

The crossovers are handmade and take advantage of the natural synergy between the customized drivers, reducing the number of components without compromising quality. The materials used are among the best available, and assembly avoids traditional printed circuit boards in favor of fiber or insulated polymer supports with mechanically crimped connections, a choice driven purely by sonic performance. When soldering is required, WBT silver solder is used for its exceptional purity.

The cabinet is artisan-built with meticulous care to ensure high performance and long-term durability. The complex and precise lock-miter assembly technique allows the panels to physically interlock, making the structure up to five times stronger than conventional solutions. Internal and external veneering resists warping, reinforces the cabinet, and ensures consistent performance over time. A unique borosilicate-based damping system manages vibration dissipation while keeping the cabinet musically “alive” and stable, unlike more common materials that tend to deteriorate. The variable-density fiberboard, denser at the edges than at the center, helps reduce resonances and repetitive nodes.

WBT binding posts ensure signal transfer without interference or loss, allowing the system to perform at its full potential. The speaker can also be equipped with the Claw isolation system, machined from solid aluminum, whose distinctive geometry breaks up surface standing waves and controls resonances by acoustically decoupling the speaker from the floor.
