The Stirling SE is a compact floor-standing speaker that embodies Tannoy’s tradition and innovation, featuring the renowned 25 cm Dual Concentric™ driver with paper suspension, designed to deliver controlled, deep bass performance, fluid midrange, and clear, detailed highs. It produces a coherent and engaging stereo image, with remarkable spatiality and stability that captivates the listener, a characteristic shared by all Prestige models equipped with the Dual Concentric™ system.

Every component and cabinet is hand-assembled using traditional techniques, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and a unique style that preserves the exclusivity of these speakers, true masterpieces of craftsmanship and acoustic technology. The full wooden finish gives them timeless elegance, while the robust front grille, equipped with a lock, allows easy access without compromising aesthetics. Their compact dimensions make positioning simple, allowing them to integrate harmoniously into any environment, from historic castles to modern, contemporary spaces.

The crossover design has been completely revised for the “SE” models, using the highest-quality components and advanced technologies to optimize acoustic performance. Crossovers are hand-wired with careful cable routing to prevent signal degradation and minimize coupling effects between components. The midrange is exceptionally transparent, providing realistic and natural vocal clarity, while the high frequencies are handled with ICW Clarity Caps and the low frequencies with high-quality metallized capacitors and low-loss laminated iron core inductors. All internal connections, from the input terminals to the crossover and the Dual Concentric™ driver, use halogen-free, silver-plated VDH MC CS18 cables for flawless signal transmission.

The five-point terminal panel, with gold-plated contacts and bi-wire capability, allows grounding of the driver chassis via the fifth terminal, minimizing RF interference and offering even more transparent mids. The classic five-position tweeter efficiency selector is also included, allowing sound adjustment according to room acoustics and listening preferences. The Stirling SE is thus a piece of audio history, combining realistic and engaging sound with refined handcrafted design built to last.
