The Hanss Acoustics T-20 turntable is the result of a project that combines advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, and a strong focus on sound quality, positioning itself as a high-end solution for analog audio enthusiasts. Its design is centered around a CNC-machined aluminium and acrylic sandwich chassis, developed to effectively reduce unwanted vibrations and resonances. The multilayer construction ensures excellent rigidity and stability, while the large magnetic levitation feet further isolate the turntable from external vibrations and allow precise leveling adjustment.

One of the key elements of the design is the 5.2 kg anodized aluminium platter with a thickness of 40 mm. The magnetic suspension bearing system significantly reduces friction, allowing the platter to rotate with exceptional smoothness and precision. Drive is provided by an external synchronized European AC motor, physically separated from the main chassis to minimize the transmission of mechanical vibrations. Rotation is transferred through three silicone belts that ensure stable and accurate speed performance.

The external power supply integrates an electronic speed control system dedicated to both 33 and 45 rpm playback. A built-in strobe and high-precision digital speed display with three-decimal readout allow extremely accurate monitoring and adjustment of rotational speed, maintaining consistent performance regardless of mains voltage fluctuations.

The chassis also supports different tonearm mounting options, including a silicone-damped adjustable VTA platform compatible with Rega tonearms, as well as an SME-compatible mount. This versatility allows the user to optimize the turntable with a wide range of tonearms and cartridges, tailoring the sonic character to personal preferences.

Aesthetically, the T-20 features a refined and contemporary design with high-quality finishes and an imposing presence enhanced by its substantial dimensions and weight of approximately 16 kg. The overall construction immediately conveys solidity, technical sophistication, and attention to detail.
