It functions as a universal device capable of connecting any DAC with a USB input to a network, upgrading high-end converters with advanced streaming features that are future-proof without compromising sound quality.

Thanks to its network inputs and the USB A output specifically optimized for audio, powered by dedicated circuits and audiophile-grade components, the Stream Box S2 Ultra transfers data directly to the DAC, bypassing any file compatibility limits and ensuring bit-perfect transmission.

The USB detox function also allows connecting a computer via the micro USB input to send a cleaned-up signal to the DAC, free from typical PC-related interference.

Control is fully possible via dedicated iOS and Android apps based on open-source projects with extensive community support, as well as via web browser or an external monitor connected to the HDMI output, which displays the graphical interface for immediate management.

The Stream Box S2 Ultra supports major streaming services such as Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, and HighResAudio, provides access to a vast catalog of internet radio stations via TuneIn, and includes DLNA and Shairport functionality for direct streaming from Apple devices.

The two USB A inputs, one front and one rear, allow the connection of external storage drives for playback of personal libraries with support up to PCM 32-bit / 352.8 kHz and DSD256, as well as the possibility of ripping CDs via an external USB drive.

Full compatibility with Roon, with Roon Ready certification, and with Audirvana allows seamless integration into advanced music management systems, including multi-room setups.
