IsoTek V5 Polaris is a power distribution and conditioning unit engineered to significantly enhance the quality of the electrical supply delivered to Hi-Fi and audio-video systems. Combining compact dimensions, advanced filtering technology, and a sophisticated electrical architecture, it provides an effective solution for reducing noise and improving overall system performance. Unlike many conventional power distribution products that connect outlets in series, allowing noise generated by connected components to spread throughout the system, the V5 Polaris employs a design that isolates each outlet individually. This approach prevents cross-contamination caused by differential-mode noise generated by connected electronics, ensuring that every component receives a cleaner and more stable power supply.

At the core of its performance is IsoTek’s proprietary Delta filter topology, an advanced solution capable of delivering substantially greater noise reduction than conventional designs. The system effectively suppresses both common-mode and differential-mode mains noise, combating electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference that can negatively affect audio performance. Filtering efficiency increases progressively at higher frequencies, where RFI contamination is most likely to influence sound quality.

Attention to detail extends to the printed circuit board, which features a heavier-than-standard copper load and silver plating to optimize conductivity. The design is further enhanced by IsoTek’s proprietary KERP (Kirchhoff’s Equal Resistance Path) technology, developed to ensure identical resistance and equal power delivery across all available outlets. As a result, every connected component benefits from the same operating conditions and power availability.

The internal wiring is manufactured using high-purity 6N OFC copper conductors with a generous 2 mm² cross-section and silver-plated surfaces, providing low resistance and high current-carrying capability. These conductors are insulated with aerospace-grade FEP dielectric material, chosen for its exceptional insulating properties and extremely low dielectric constant, helping to maintain maximum energy transfer integrity throughout the system.

Particular attention has also been given to equipment protection. The V5 version incorporates a surge protection system capable of handling current spikes of up to 45,000 amps. Thanks to IsoTek’s unique sequential and repeatable protection technology, not only is the unit itself safeguarded, but all connected equipment benefits from a high level of long-term protection as well.

For greater installation flexibility, the V5 Polaris includes a System Link connection that allows multiple units to be connected together while maintaining a proper star-earth reference and reducing the need for multiple wall outlets. The package also includes a practical wall-mounting bracket system, making it easy to install the unit discreetly behind an equipment rack.
