The AT33xMLD cartridge represents the latest update to the historic AT33 series, the first major overhaul in recent years, capable of adding warmth and fullness to musical playback. This model incorporates advanced technological solutions and materials, including, for the first time, a die-cast zinc base designed to reduce unwanted resonance and enhance expressiveness in the mid-to-low frequency range, allowing every detail to be heard across the entire audio spectrum.

The cartridge body is made of a composite material combining die-cast zinc, aluminum, and high-rigidity polymer, strategically arranged to reduce and disperse vibrations throughout the surface. The result is a balanced and natural sound reproduction, free from emphasis on specific frequencies, delivering a harmonious and coherent listening experience.

The nude microlinear stylus, paired with a tapered duralumin tube cantilever, ensures precise and detailed response, with a warm character that makes the cartridge particularly suitable for rock and jazz records. The rigid cantilever, combined with a solid suspension mechanism, slightly reduces dynamic compliance, producing a fuller and more substantial sound, especially in the mid-to-low frequency range.

The dual moving coil design provides excellent channel separation thanks to two independent coils made from PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting), ensuring clean and linear signal transmission. The magnetic system, composed of a neodymium magnet and a permendur yoke, creates a strong and stable magnetic field, maximizing signal generation efficiency and delivering high-resolution, dynamic, and precise analog playback.

The cartridge body includes integrated threaded holes that simplify mounting with just two screws and are particularly convenient for tonearms with an integrated headshell. Every construction detail is designed to ensure that no frequency dominates during playback, offering a balanced, natural, and nuanced listening experience.
