The Dynavector DV-10XA-H represents the pinnacle of high-output Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, designed to deliver an immediate and uncompromising analog listening experience. At the heart of the DV-10XA-H is a magnetic circuit developed with Dynavector’s proprietary “Special Magnetic Annealing” technology, using pure iron with stable magnetic properties to minimize distortion. This specialized annealing process, precisely calibrated for temperature, environment, and heating/cooling duration, produces a resonant, expansive, and precise sound with unparalleled resolution.
This high-output cartridge achieves a 2.8 mV signal, eliminating the need for dedicated preamplifiers or step-up transformers while maintaining all the sonic advantages typical of MC designs. Dynavector’s unique coil winding technology, with ultrafine wire wrapped multiple times, provides the perfect balance of power and detail, offering the ease of use of an MM cartridge with the sound quality of an MC. The recommended load impedance is above 1,000 Ω, while direct connection to PHONO inputs in MM position (47 kΩ) is also possible.
The DV-10XA-H features a Shibata Type III stylus, engineered for exceptional high-frequency response and superior groove tracking. Its lightweight, rigid aluminum cantilever enhances playback precision and allows high-resolution reproduction, even on the most complex vinyl records.
The use of neodymium magnets with patented “Softened Magnet” technology reduces distortion and harshness commonly caused by rare-earth magnets, while maintaining a strong and clean signal. The result is a clear, well-separated, natural sound that is effortless to listen to.
The machined aluminum head block ensures a solid and stable connection to the headshell. With a compliance of 12 mm/N and a total weight of 7.5 g, the DV-10XA-H is compatible with most tonearms on the market, offering versatility and precision without compromise.
