The AT33Sa represents a breakthrough in Audio-Technica’s moving coil cartridge lineup, being the first to feature a Shibata line-contact stylus, renowned for its exceptional high-frequency performance and strong, solid midrange and bass. The stylus is mounted on a nude tapered boron cantilever with a double damper, reducing weight and enhancing overall audio quality.

The cartridge’s dual moving coils provide extremely precise channel separation and are housed within a lightweight yet sturdy VC mold that minimizes unwanted vibrations. The magnetic system uses a neodymium magnet and a permendur yoke, significantly increasing magnetic energy and dynamic response.

The PCOCC coils, made from pure copper using the Ohno Continuous Casting method, ensure impurity-free signal transmission, delivering detailed, transparent, and natural sound that faithfully reproduces every nuance of vinyl with outstanding musicality and tonal coherence.
