The PrimaLuna EVO 100 Integrated is a tube integrated amplifier designed to deliver an authentic and engaging listening experience, combining handcrafted build quality with advanced valve technology. From the very first glance, it stands out for its attention to detail and solid construction, with every component carefully selected to maximize sonic performance and long-term reliability.

Unlike many tube integrated amplifiers on the market that rely on solid-state circuits for headphone output, the EVO 100 uses the same dedicated tube amplification stage as the loudspeaker output, resulting in an exceptionally rich, detailed, and natural headphone listening experience. No separate headphone amplifier is required: the EVO 100 is designed to satisfy even demanding users of high-end headphones, from Sennheiser and Hifiman to Audeze.

One of PrimaLuna’s key innovations is the Adaptive AutoBias system. This intelligent, fully passive circuit operates outside the signal path and automatically adjusts tube operation in real time, reducing distortion and extending tube lifespan. In the event of a fault, the amplifier enters protection mode and indicates the faulty tube via a red LED. The process is simple and user-friendly: replace the tube and resume listening.

The power supply section is built around a massive custom toroidal transformer, resin-encapsulated and shielded to minimize mechanical vibration and electromagnetic interference. The output transformers are also custom-designed and internally wound by PrimaLuna, ensuring a wide, controlled frequency response across both deep bass and airy high frequencies.

The entire circuit is built using point-to-point wiring, a construction method that prioritizes absolute signal quality and relies on skilled manual assembly for every internal connection. No printed circuit boards are used in the signal path, only hand-wired connections with heavy-gauge conductors.

The EVO 100 deliberately excludes built-in DAC and phono stages, a conscious design choice aimed at avoiding early obsolescence and allowing users to pair the amplifier with high-quality external sources tailored to their system.

Finally, the amplifier is designed to operate its tubes under gentle and controlled conditions, with lower operating voltages that increase reliability, reduce failure risk, and significantly extend tube life. With well-managed power delivery and natural dynamics, the EVO 100 produces a full-bodied, musical, and highly expressive sound, capable of enhancing every genre with warmth, depth, and realism.
