The PrimaLuna EVO 100 Integrated is a tube-based integrated amplifier designed to deliver an authentic and engaging listening experience, combining the elegance of handcrafted construction with advanced tube technology. From the very first glance, it impresses with meticulous attention to detail and robust build quality: every component is carefully selected to maximize sonic performance and ensure long-term reliability.

Unlike many tube integrated amplifiers on the market that use solid-state circuits for the headphone output, the EVO 100 employs the same tube section used for driving speakers, providing a headphone experience that is rich, detailed, and natural. No separate headphone amplifier is needed: the EVO 100 is engineered to satisfy even the most demanding audiophiles using high-end models from Sennheiser, Hifiman, or Audeze.

The Adaptive AutoBias system represents one of PrimaLuna’s key innovations. This intelligent, fully passive circuit, located outside the signal path, automatically regulates the operation of the tubes in real time, reducing distortion and prolonging tube life. In case of a failure, the amplifier enters protection mode and indicates which tube needs replacement via a red LED. There are no technical complications or risks to the components: simply replace the tube and resume listening.

The power supply section relies on a massive custom toroidal transformer, encapsulated in anti-resonance resin and shielded to minimize acoustic noise and electromagnetic interference. The output transformers are also custom-designed and internally wound by PrimaLuna, essential components for delivering a wide and controlled frequency response, from deep bass to airy highs.

All circuitry is implemented using point-to-point wiring, a technique that prioritizes absolute quality and entrusts skilled hands with every internal connection. No printed circuit boards are used in the signal path, only hand-wired connections with generously sized conductors.

The EVO 100 is engineered to operate its tubes gently and precisely: lower voltages mean higher reliability, reduced risk of failure, and a much longer operational life.
