The latest integrated amplifier from Pioneer showcases the pinnacle of Direct Energy technology, designed to deliver an immersive and realistic sound with an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio. The Direct Energy design focuses on signal purity, combining an isolated power supply, large custom-made capacitors, Direct Function, Power Amp Direct mode, an aluminum volume knob and front panel, and an MM phono input, ensuring faithful reproduction as intended by the artists.

The power supply is engineered with separate windings for the power amplifier, preamplifier, and controls within the transformer to prevent mutual interference and maintain a clean, stable signal. The main electrolytic capacitors, developed in collaboration with ELNA, are a key component in audio quality, providing transparency and musical detail. The Pioneer logo on the casing indicates these are exclusive pure audio capacitors, designed specifically for this amplifier.

The Direct Function allows all unnecessary circuits to be bypassed, leaving only the volume control active for a more direct and faithful listening experience. This is not just a simple switch but a carefully calibrated feature to enhance musicality and the natural quality of the sound.

The Anti-Standing Wave Insulator further improves sound quality through its internal design with no parallel surfaces, eliminating cavity resonance and providing clearer, more precise reproduction. This feature enhances instrument localization, tonal definition, soundstage depth, and ensures seamless channel connectivity, delivering accurate and responsive sound even during fast musical passages.
