DALI SONIK ON-WALL

Wall-mounted speaker designed to deliver a spacious and detailed sound reproduction without taking up floor space. Its slim profile allows it to blend discreetly into domestic environments and home theatre systems while maintaining a compact footprint. The acoustic configuration comprises a 5.25-inch woofer featuring a Clarity Cone™ paper and wood fibre diaphragm and SMC™ magnetic technology, paired with a 29 mm soft-dome tweeter. This combination promotes balanced performance, with deep bass, natural midrange frequencies and well-defined highs.

The bass reflex system features a rear port venting downwards, designed to take advantage of wall proximity and deliver an extended, controlled low-frequency response. This design allows the speaker to reproduce music with good presence without necessarily requiring a subwoofer, making it suitable for both stereo listening and multichannel configurations for films and television programmes.

The option of horizontal or vertical installation provides greater placement flexibility and makes it easier to integrate the speaker into environments with specific space and interior design requirements. The SONIK ON-WALL can be used as a pair in a stereo system or incorporated into a surround setup, helping to create an engaging and coherent soundstage.

The Clarity Cone™ diaphragm, made from paper and wood fibre and inspired by solutions developed for the DALI KORE, combines low mass and rigidity to control resonances and promote natural reproduction of voices and mid-to-high frequencies. This also helps ensure a more seamless transition between the woofer and tweeter, maintaining a balanced tonal character.

The SMC™ Essential magnetic system uses a soft magnetic composite material integrated into a hybrid iron and SMC™ core, surrounded by a ferrite ring. This configuration reduces hysteresis effects and eddy currents in the voice coil's working area, helping to minimise distortion and improve playback linearity. The result is a cleaner, more detailed midrange, suitable for both music listening and film soundtracks.
