Wilson Benesch The Actor is a floorstanding loudspeaker that embodies the technical and stylistic approach typical of the British brand. It is a two-way system with a fourth-order Bessel reflex loading and differential chamber, developed to deliver a wide and well-controlled frequency response.

In terms of components, The Actor uses a woofer and a bass/midrange driver made from isotactic polypropylene with ferrite magnets — materials selected for their lightness and rigidity. The tweeter is a Scan-Speak 9300, a well-known component in the high-end audio sector. The internal crossover is minimum phase and low order, with a 6 dB per octave slope, air-core inductors, and selected polypropylene capacitors, configured to provide the shortest and cleanest possible signal path.

Internal wiring consists of multi-strand silver-plated copper with Teflon insulation, while the terminals support bi-wiring connections.
