The Sasha DAW was conceived as a tribute to the history of Wilson Audio and, at the same time, as a statement of intent toward the future, drawing an ideal connection to the legendary WATT/Puppy introduced nearly thirty years ago, from which it is a direct descendant. The DAW designation explicitly honors Dave Andrew Wilson, founder and driving force behind the original project, and identifies a loudspeaker that fuses the legacy of the past with a distinctly contemporary vision of musical reproduction.

This model incorporates a sophisticated time-alignment adjustment system based on a calibrated structure that allows for extremely fine micro-adjustments in the time domain, enabling highly accurate alignment of the individual drivers and optimizing overall soundstage coherence. The result is a design that achieves the highest resolution, lowest distortion, and greatest linearity ever attained within the WATT/Puppy platform, while also offering greater ease of placement in rooms of varying sizes and characteristics compared to previous models.

The sonic core of the Sasha DAW is built around an 8-inch woofer derived from that used in the Alexia Series 2, but completely redesigned to meet the specific requirements of this loudspeaker. The midrange and high-frequency drivers are the same units employed in the WAMM Master Chronosonic reference system and are integrated by an entirely new crossover, engineered to blend every element of the design with naturalness and precision. The cabinets, larger and more rigid than those of earlier versions, contribute to an overall improvement in performance, delivering remarkable tonal beauty together with an impressive dynamic range, capable of creating a physical and tangible sensation of music being performed by real musicians present in the listening space.

Material selection plays a fundamental role: Wilson Audio’s proprietary X-Material composite is used to optimize the performance of the woofers and tweeters, while the development of the original Sasha led to the creation of S-Material, specifically engineered to enhance the accuracy and naturalness of the midrange. This combination helps establish a direct and immediate connection with the most intimate and evocative dimension of music, transforming listening into a deeply engaging experience.
