The 116 F model incorporates many elements and technologies from the flagship 111 F series, starting with its 4-way design featuring RadialStrahler midrange and tweeter drivers with carbon fiber diaphragms and 360-degree dispersion. It also retains the dual pairs of woofer and subwoofer in a push-push configuration, though with slightly smaller diameters of 140 mm and 200 mm respectively. Both drivers have aluminum diaphragms. The woofer and subwoofer enclosures are physically separated, ensuring the output from the two pairs of drivers remains distinct and well isolated.

This type of driver radiates sound in 360 degrees, meaning obstacles or surrounding elements do not create the same issues typically encountered with traditional speakers. The reflected sound manages to compensate for significant listening room challenges such as structural asymmetries or furniture that cannot be removed or relocated. The resulting soundstage is wide and does not rely solely on the central sweet spot typical of conventional speakers: on a hypothetical sofa, all listeners receive the same immersive audio message rich in information about the exact placement of the instruments. The room thus becomes an important and valuable ally in optimally reconstructing the original audio message.

The Noble Line is directly derived from the Reference series, aiming to reduce component sizes without compromising quality or performance, thereby meeting the needs of discerning listeners with smaller listening rooms.
