Floorstanding loudspeaker featuring a large cabinet that recalls the proportions and aesthetic approach of high-end loudspeakers from the 1970s, reinterpreted through a contemporary design. The rectangular cabinet features a walnut veneer finish and a large black front baffle, with a construction designed for use in large rooms.

The acoustic system is built around a 300 mm (12") coaxial IsoFlare driver, combining the mid-woofer and compression tweeter in a single point source. At the centre of the driver is a 75 mm titanium alloy dome, while the main driver uses a FyneFlute surround. The coaxial configuration keeps the acoustic centres of the two sections aligned, contributing to a coherent reproduction and precise image focus.

IsoFlare technology was developed by Paul Mills, a designer with extensive experience in loudspeaker engineering. The principle integrates the tweeter at the centre of the mid-woofer, with the aim of achieving point-source behaviour and consistent dispersion across the different frequency ranges.

The FyneFlute surround is used on the 300 mm driver and features a geometry designed to control surround vibrations and limit their effects on the driver's response. The woofer's large radiating area allows the Vintage Classic XII to handle high sound pressure levels and produce an extended low-frequency response suitable for large listening rooms.

The loudspeaker requires careful attention to positioning and toe-in towards the listening position. Appropriate placement and orientation allow the coaxial configuration to deliver a broad and well-focused soundstage, together with an extended and articulate low-frequency response.

The overall design combines the large cabinet, walnut finish and black front baffle with an acoustic configuration developed according to contemporary design principles, while maintaining a visual approach inspired by the large domestic loudspeakers of the past.
