The Focal Electra 927 BE is a limited-edition floor-standing model created to celebrate Focal-JMlab’s 25th anniversary. The result of an exclusive project combining refined design and advanced acoustic solutions, this speaker stands out for its meticulous construction and high-level sound performance. It features a 165 mm woofer with a new-generation W cone, composed of a more compact glass layer and double-thickness foam, a configuration that significantly improves rigidity and damping, ensuring precise and controlled reproduction across the low and mid-low frequency range.

A key element of the 927 BE is the pure Beryllium TCE BE tweeter, the same used in the top-tier Utopia series models. This inverted dome, capable of covering a five-octave range from 1 kHz up to nearly 40,000 Hz, combines extreme lightness, exceptional rigidity, and excellent damping properties. The frequency response extends smoothly down to 850 Hz, allowing optimal integration with the midrange and a closer placement of the drivers, reducing phase interference. A removable magnetic grille is included to protect the tweeter.

Attention to aesthetics is evident in the finish, with side panels in light gold wood veneer that give the speaker a warm and luminous appearance. The central cabinet body is finished in glossy black, while the rear panel behind the tweeter is made of brushed aluminum, a detail that enhances the overall look with a modern and sophisticated touch. Produced in only 500 units worldwide, the Focal Electra 927 BE represents a rare synthesis of exclusivity, technological innovation, and sonic refinement.
