DALI SONIK 9

Floorstanding speaker designed for large rooms, intended for both stereo Hi-Fi systems and home theatre installations. Its configuration, featuring three 7-inch woofers equipped with SMC™ technology and Clarity Cone™ diaphragms, together with a hybrid tweeter module, delivers a wide and immersive soundstage, with deep bass, detailed midrange and well-defined high frequencies. The design aims to combine dynamic capability, precision and low distortion, maintaining a balanced sound even at high listening levels.

The three 7-inch woofers feature wood fibre diaphragms with a Clarity Cone™ structure, designed to minimise resonances and improve reproduction accuracy. The dual magnets, developed specifically for this model, help concentrate the magnetic field and reduce losses, providing greater dynamic headroom. This configuration reproduces low frequencies with depth, articulation and impact, while maintaining good midrange definition for both music and cinematic soundtracks.

DALI's proprietary SMC™ magnetic system helps reduce distortion and improve driver linearity. The structure combines a ferrite ring with a hybrid iron and SMC™ pole piece, positioning the composite magnetic material in the voice coil's working area. By reducing eddy currents and hysteresis effects, this solution minimises interference with voice coil movement and promotes cleaner, more detailed reproduction, particularly in the midrange.

The DALI hybrid tweeter module combines wide dispersion with precise high-frequency reproduction. Its configuration brings out the nuances of recordings, from the finest instrumental details to the effects featured in cinematic soundtracks, while maintaining a natural character and an open presentation, even at high listening levels. Its wide sound dispersion also contributes to consistent reproduction across an extended listening area.

Thanks to its combination of frequency extension, dynamic capability and sound dispersion, the SONIK 9 is suitable for both stereo music reproduction and use as the front channels in multichannel home theatre systems. Its ability to fill large rooms, combined with controlled bass and well-defined high frequencies, allows it to handle a variety of musical genres and cinematic content while maintaining coherence and detail in reproduction.
