The KORE represents the pinnacle of DALI's long history, a loudspeaker celebrating the Danish company's forty years and carrying the legacy of iconic models such as MegaLine, DaCapo, Skyline, 40 SE, and Euphonia. Every stage of its development has been designed, engineered, and fully manufactured in-house at DALI, ensuring complete control over every production detail.

The KORE cabinet is built from the highest quality materials: the curved 28 mm birch side and rear panels are paired with a 4 mm composite panel, while the flat 30 mm birch laminate front completes a solid and precise structure. Inside, horizontal laminated braces reinforce the cabinet, divide the internal volume, and reduce standing waves, while the front edges are spaced 20 mm to lock the front panel in place. The two 290 mm woofers, each with dual voice coils and honeycomb cones reinforced with wood fibers, are housed in two separate 72-liter volumes with dedicated reflex ports and spaced 85 cm apart to optimize vertical dispersion and the radiation pattern.

The speaker's base is a 34 kg micro-cast resin block that provides isolation from vibrations and pressure fluctuations, supporting the overall weight of 140 kg. Inside the base, a sub-structure houses the crossover components, keeping them far from the woofers to prevent crosstalk. The panel supporting the 178 mm midrange and the EVO-K Hybrid tweeter is made of die-cast aluminum, lighter and stiffer than wood, and damped with silicone to further reduce unwanted vibrations. The midrange employs Balanced Drive SMC technology, a cellulose composite diaphragm, and a ventilated titanium voice coil, with a mechanically isolated working volume and a variable-area transmission line that absorbs rear radiation.

The EVO-K hybrid tweeter combines a 35 mm silk dome with a 55x10 mm ribbon, ensuring low distortion, extended high-frequency response, and precise reproduction up to 30 kHz. The large dome improves sensitivity and lowers the resonance frequency, while the ribbon features a more powerful neodymium-iron-boron magnet, an aluminum heat sink, and an optimized waveguide, increasing sensitivity by 8 dB and reducing distortion and compression.

The crossover is divided into two separate circuits, one in the base and one in the midrange/tweeter panel, minimizing crosstalk and facilitating bi-wiring and bi-amping. Metallized polypropylene capacitors with ultra-low loss and air-wound inductors combined with Gen-2 SMC reduce resistance and crosstalk, ensuring pure signals and highly efficient filter components.

The connectors are designed and manufactured in-house, gold-plated, with oversized screws and a self-locking mechanism to guarantee reliable and durable connections. The Balanced Drive SMC technology in the woofers and midrange cancels directional non-linearities, reduces distortion—especially odd-order harmonics—and allows for greater diaphragm excursion with minimal compression, even at high volumes or with low-frequency content.
