The Uno SD G3 is a 2-way spherical horn speaker system with integrated active subwoofers, representing the pinnacle of High-End sound reproduction by combining extraordinary performance with Avantgarde’s iconic and ultra-modern design. The system allows a choice between a passive configuration using the 2-way NatureCap crossover or an active setup with the iTRON Current Drive amplifier, enabling a simple and immediate transition between modes and future upgrades with next-generation electronic modules. Its aesthetics are highly customizable, offering twelve horn colors, cabinet finishes in matte black or piano gloss black, and interchangeable metal rings around the horn mounts.

The G3 spherical horns are engineered with mathematical precision and advanced modeling tools, ensuring micrometer-level geometric accuracy and perfect structural integrity. Controlled-directivity output enhances dynamics and live effect, reduces ambient reflections and distortions, and delivers performance improvements over traditional systems up to eight times in dynamic range and ten times in resolution, with a 90% reduction in distortion. The co-planar acoustic center of the drivers ensures a single emission point and perfect time alignment.

The Evolution drivers, designed specifically for the horns, provide excellent phase coherence and incorporate AirGate and Omega Voice Coil technologies, offering control, mechanical stability, and easy amplifier driving. The Single Frame die-cast steel baskets house an oversized motor, HiTech Kevlar sandwich dome suspensions and diaphragms, top-quality magnets, and anti-resonance components, ensuring both power and precision. The new 1-inch XT2 tweeter, with a 160 mm horn and annular diaphragm geometry, achieves 0.85% distortion, 115 dB efficiency at low frequencies, linear reproduction up to 22 kHz, and precise, phase-stable sound.

The 5-inch XM1 midrange, loaded in a 500 mm spherical horn, covers 290 Hz–4000 Hz, featuring a Soft-Mesh-Compound dome that reduces resonances and distortions. Combined with AirGate technology, SingleFrame chassis, and powerful InnerCore magnets, it delivers linear excursions and 107 dB/W efficiency. The crossover integrates advanced solutions like SphericLowCut and AirGate, with minimized passive filters and proprietary hand-built NatureCap components made in Germany, ensuring precise filtering, driver protection, and superior timbral quality.

The active 10-inch XB10 subwoofer, driven by the 500 W G3-500 module, features a high-force motor, oversized voice coil, progressive NBR suspensions, and a carbon fiber and paper diaphragm. The integrated DSP allows advanced adjustments for equalization, volume, and low-pass filtering, configurable also via the Avantgarde Control software.

The stable, minimalist cabinet is supported by a robust steel structure and rests on legs with adjustable conical spikes, CNC-machined from solid material with anti-vibration damping. The Uno SD G3 thus combines state-of-the-art acoustic engineering with refined aesthetics, delivering transparency, resolution, realism, and uncompromising musicality.
