The Focal - JM Lab Chorus CC700 is a center channel speaker designed to deliver precise, natural, and immersive sound performance, perfectly suited for integration into a Chorus series home theater system. This model is engineered to overcome the typical limitations of traditional two-way center speakers, offering a stable three-dimensional soundstage, seamless tonal coherence, and lifelike vocal reproduction without coloration or the "megaphone" effect.

At the heart of the Focal - JM Lab Chorus CC700 are technologies inherited from the brand’s high-end models, translated into a compact, affordable configuration that doesn’t compromise on performance. The 1" aluminum-magnesium inverted dome tweeter ensures crystal-clear, distortion-free high frequencies, enhanced by a lightweight polyurethane micro-cellular foam suspension that allows the dome greater freedom of movement, improving efficiency and linearity.

The midrange and bass frequencies are handled by two 6.5" Polyglass woofers, made by layering hollow silica glass microbeads over cellulose pulp. This exclusive material combines the warmth and natural tone of plant fibers with the rigidity and lightness of glass, providing fast response and extremely low resonance. The butyl rubber surround ensures smooth cone movement and long-lasting reliability.

The entire speaker system is supported by the OPC (Optimum Phase Crossover) network, which ensures perfect integration between the drivers and a stable, natural, and well-defined soundstage. The cabinet construction reflects Focal’s attention to detail: made of thick MDF with internal bracing and non-parallel inner walls, it is specifically designed to minimize unwanted vibrations and preserve sonic purity. The slightly curved front panel softens the classic boxy design, while the woodgrain vinyl or black high-gloss leatherette finish allows for easy integration into any home environment.
