The Jamo D 8 CEN is the result of the expertise of the historic Danish company Jamo, one of Europe’s leading loudspeaker manufacturers, and is designed to deliver high-level performance within premium home theater systems. Intended for horizontal placement above or below a television, this center speaker features a three-way configuration with dual 6.5-inch woofers, a 1.5-inch dome midrange driver, and a 1-inch dome tweeter, ensuring precise dialogue reproduction, excellent tonal balance, and outstanding intelligibility across the soundstage.

Its design reflects the characteristic aesthetic and engineering philosophy of the Danish brand, combining elegant lines, refined finishes, and high-quality materials. The D 8 CEN incorporates several technical solutions derived from the Concert series, including pure silver wire voice coils, high-quality oxygen-free copper internal wiring manufactured directly by Jamo, 24-karat gold-plated terminals, and carefully selected and matched components.

The structure employs neodymium magnets, die-cast magnesium chassis, and premium real wood veneers, elements that contribute both to the speaker’s acoustic performance and its sophisticated appearance.

Special attention has also been dedicated to cabinet construction, engineered to minimize vibrations and unwanted coloration. The front panel utilizes a proprietary Non-Coloration Compound structure made from quartz sand mixed with damping materials and enclosed within molded synthetic shells, a solution that provides exceptional rigidity and excellent acoustic inertia.

The cabinet itself is constructed from thick MDF panels with dedicated internal bracing and acoustic foam lining featuring a honeycomb structure, specifically developed to maximize resonance control and improve sonic precision.
