The Wharfedale Linton Heritage represents the contemporary evolution of a classic icon, combining the brand’s traditional sound with modern materials and construction techniques. Inspired by the original 1965 model, the new Linton maintains similar proportions and classic aesthetics while offering high-quality finishes and a thoroughly updated sound. These are three-way bass reflex speakers with a dual rear port, designed to deliver natural, engaging musicality with warmth, presence, and a sense of spatiality that few modern speakers can match.

The wood-veneered cabinet blends retro elegance with structural solidity: inside, high-density particleboard and MDF, cross braces, and ceramic plates ensure optimal vibration control and faithful music reproduction. The wide baffle houses a 200 mm woven Kevlar woofer for deep, well-defined bass, a 135 mm Kevlar midrange for clear and detailed mids, and a 25 mm soft dome tweeter with a high-flux ferrite magnet for precise, non-fatiguing highs. This configuration provides a frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of 90 dB (2V/1m), suitable for use with amplifiers from 25 to 200 W, offering versatility in various listening environments.

The Linton Heritage speakers are easy to position and can be paired with optional custom-designed stands, featuring rigid metal feet for effective vibration damping, wood-covered panels, and space for storing vinyl records.
