The loudspeaker’s front panel is made of finely hand-finished wood mounted on a solid die-cast aluminium plate, while the leather rings surrounding the woofers are applied by hand at the Sonus Faber factory in Vicenza, Italy. These details not only enhance the visual elegance but also contribute to acoustic refinement, ensuring pure and dynamic sound reproduction.

The speakers feature a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, a sensitivity of 87 dB SPL (2.83V/1m), and a frequency response ranging from 45 Hz to 35 kHz. With a recommended amplifier power between 35 and 250 watts, the Olympica Nova I is compatible with a wide range of amplifiers, offering flexibility and adaptability in any audio system.

To ensure a truly refined listening experience, the Olympica Nova I employs a sophisticated crossover network free from resonance, built with uncompromising components. Jantzen inductors and ClarityCap capacitors are custom-designed for Sonus Faber, ensuring flawless signal handling and perfect integration between frequency ranges.

The cabinet is a true work of art, featuring an asymmetrical and rigid lute-inspired shape. Its structure consists of eight layers of curved wood, internally reinforced to achieve superior rigidity. This design minimises vibrations and eliminates unwanted resonances, ensuring that only pure sound reaches the listener. The speakers are also designed for flexible positioning, allowing users to swap channel orientation to optimise setup according to the listening environment.

Sonus Faber’s Stealth Ultraflex system further optimises airflow, ensuring fast, vibration-free movement of air. This system is organically integrated into the cabinet walls and made from extruded aluminium.
