The Qln Prestige One is a reference monitor loudspeaker that aligns with the performance level of the award-winning Prestige series. Fully consistent with Qln’s truncated cabinet design philosophy, the Prestige One features the same minimal baffle area, time alignment, and damping technology already found in the Signature 3 model, but with further optimization that establishes a new performance benchmark.

It adopts the same constant-impedance crossover technology used across the Prestige range, refined specifically for the compact two-way design of the Prestige One. Dynamics and sound pressure level (SPL) are increased through the use of low-loss inductors for the woofer section. All inductors are air-core, and all capacitors are made of polypropylene material.

Each inductor undergoes a heat-treatment process to bond the windings together, reducing internal vibrations.

The constant-impedance crossover produces a uniform impedance response, making the load easier for the amplifier to drive (especially valve amplifiers) while ensuring improved phase coherence for the drivers. The crossover is hand-wired to achieve optimal component contact with the minimum number of connection points. Each component is secured with soft adhesive to enhance damping and minimize vibrations.

Internal wiring uses solid-core pure copper conductors, arranged in parallel and wrapped around a polypropylene core to reduce multiple junctions between individual wire strands. The positive and negative cable sections are heat-treated and enclosed in a rubber-like acoustic damping insulation to reduce vibration and friction between conductors. The insulating material is pure polypropylene, free from dyes, in order to avoid any negative sonic effects caused by coloring agents.

High-quality WBT Nextgen® connectors are used, featuring minimal conductive material in copper/silver construction to ensure the lowest possible distortion and signal loss. While pure copper is typically preferred, the choice of silver-plated connectors instead of pure copper is due to the fact that, although silver can oxidize, it provides a cleaner and more durable contact surface over time. Although gold plating is good for preventing oxidation, it is not considered optimal in terms of sound quality.

The bass/midrange and treble drivers are custom-designed and selected from the renowned Danish manufacturer Scan-Speak, offering some of the most advanced driver technology of the 21st century. The Kevlar® bass/midrange driver with a special coating and copper ring integrated into the magnet system provides symmetrical drive and superior midrange dynamics while also reducing intermodulation distortion. The result is outstanding vocal reproduction and impressive micro- and macro-dynamics for such a compact two-way design.

The unique Illuminator tweeter delivers exceptional sound imaging across all listening positions. Its large surround and fabric dome diaphragm provide a flat frequency response beyond 30 kHz with excellent off-axis dispersion. The unique AirCirc magnet system and rear chamber further reduce reflections and resonances.
