The ELAC Uni-Fi Reference UBR62 represents the result of careful acoustic research and innovation, designed to deliver a precise and engaging listening experience. Built with a three-way structure, these speakers rigorously assign frequencies to three distinct drivers, each dedicated to bass, midrange, and treble, ensuring clear and detailed reproduction across the entire sound spectrum. This sophisticated design limits frequency interference and reduces distortion for a clean and refined sound.

At the technical core of the Uni-Fi Reference is the concentric driver with a cast chassis, which integrates a long-throw tweeter with a completely redesigned midrange featuring a larger voice coil, a rear damping system, and a strengthened neodymium magnet, improving precision and midrange frequency handling. Completing the midrange section, the new cast chassis reduces unwanted cone reflections, contributing to a clearer sound performance.

The low-frequency response relies on an innovative woofer design with a one-piece compound curvature aluminum cone, paired with a large, well-ventilated rear magnet, ensuring superior linearity and deeper, more dynamic bass compared to previous generations. The presence of a dual flared slot port further enhances bass performance while reducing port noise for cleaner and more powerful output.

The cabinet is designed to integrate elegantly into any home environment, combining functionality and style without occupying excessive space. Durability is ensured by a full perimeter internal brace that connects the top, bottom, and side panels, reducing unwanted vibrations and minimizing cabinet coloration for faithful and natural sound reproduction.
