The Fostex GR 160 is the entry-level speaker from the Japanese brand, designed as a two-way bass reflex bookshelf speaker that combines high sound quality with easy drivability.

This speaker stands out for its use of a 99.9% pure magnesium tweeter, which ensures a particularly transparent, natural, and detailed mid-high frequency range, faithfully reproducing every sonic nuance. The woofer features a double-layer paper cone developed with HR technology: an inner layer made of high-rigidity materials provides solidity and control, while the outer layer is designed to increase response speed, delivering depth and articulation to the low frequencies.

The design is completed by a base with isolators that further improve performance by reducing unwanted vibrations, promoting a cleaner and more precise sound reproduction.
