The VPI Prime Scout marks the return of VPI’s best-selling turntable, reimagined and improved to deliver outstanding performance at a surprisingly accessible price. The design of the Prime Scout follows the original model but introduces significant improvements: the platter is precision-machined aluminum, the 300 RPM motor is more efficient, and the isolation feet have been optimized to reduce vibrations and ensure greater stability during playback. The turntable is paired with the 9-inch JMW 9 Uni-Pivot Tonearm, also made of machined aluminum, ensuring precise tracking and refined detail, allowing every nuance of the vinyl to be appreciated. The system also includes a Delrin screw-down clamp that securely holds the record, contributing to more stable and consistent playback.
