This special edition, produced exclusively during the anniversary year, stands out for its particularly complete configuration, combining advanced technical solutions, carefully selected components and dedicated aesthetic details, delivering reference-level performance in its price category.

The Planar 3 50th Anniversary Edition comes as standard with the advanced Neo PSU MK2 power supply, manually calibrated to the 24-volt motor to ensure extremely precise speed control and a significant reduction in vibrations. The drive system employs the Rega Reference EBLT belt, paired with a CNC-machined aluminum drive pulley—the same used on the Planar 6—a solution that plays a decisive role in stability, accuracy and overall sound quality. Completing the technical setup, the turntable is fitted with the Rega RB330 tonearm and the Rega Exact moving-magnet cartridge, hand-built and factory-installed to guarantee optimal matching from first use.

Aesthetics play a central role in this commemorative edition, featuring an elegant walnut-effect finish that recalls the brand’s tradition and heritage. The 12 mm polished opti-white float glass platter enhances both performance and visual impact, while the smoked dust cover adds a modern and distinctive touch.
