Giglio embodies Gold Note’s philosophy at its purest: a turntable born from the constant dialogue between tradition and innovation, reinterpreting the analog icon with carefully selected materials, refined technical solutions, and artisanal craftsmanship typical of Italy. Its shape is inspired by the catenary curve, a Renaissance invention that gives the plinth superior structural rigidity, turning every listening session into a precise, natural, and remarkably musical experience. The solid walnut, seasoned and stabilized using traditional methods, provides an elastic, sturdy, and perfectly controlled base, supported by three adjustable anodized aluminum feet that ensure stability and isolation.

In its triple-damped chassis, Giglio combines a 50 mm thick walnut board with a stainless steel plate fixed in sixteen points and a polished black acrylic top panel, integrating the electronics and speed controls. This careful layering creates an extremely rigid and silent structure capable of reducing resonances below the audible threshold. Every curve is shaped and polished to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and function, resulting in an object that immediately stands out for its sculptural character and organic elegance.

The platter, 33 mm thick and made of Sustarin — an inert, highly damping polymer — is suspended just above the turntable surface to minimize air turbulence and ensure exceptionally stable rotation. The precision-engineered spindle/bearing system uses hardened, lapped steels coupled with selected bronze, ensuring smooth and silent operation. The hourglass-shaped pulley keeps the belt moving consistently, significantly reducing wow, flutter, and rumble, contributing to the purity of the reproduction.

The 12 Volt synchronous motor, made in Switzerland and powered by a proprietary supply with microcontroller, audio converter, and Quadral-Core processor, reconstructs the electrical waveform with absolute precision, eliminating vibrations while providing high torque and impeccable rotational stability. Speeds of 33⅓ and 45 rpm are electronically controlled and can be memorized for optimal operation. The result is an analog performer capable of effortless listening, highlighting the intrinsic beauty of music and delivering it naturally and fluidly.

PST-10

The PST-10 is an external power supply dedicated to Gold Note turntables, designed to elevate analog performance to the highest level. It features a sophisticated hybrid design with a dual-coil inductive filter: the proprietary Dual-Choke system isolates the turntable from the mains, purifying the input voltage and eliminating interference, noise, and any unwanted electrical disturbances. This allows the turntable motor to operate under ideal conditions, free from fluctuations that could affect rotational precision.

Its circuitry is organized across four distinct stages and uses four ultra-low noise voltage regulators alongside four audio-grade transformers: three dedicated to the power section and one to the inductive filter. This complex architecture delivers an extremely stable and linear current, enhancing dynamic range, resolution, and micro-detail, faithfully reproducing even the subtlest nuances of a recording. Listening benefits from a more realistic recreation of the musical event, resulting in cleaner, more detailed, and believable sound.

To maximize performance, the PST-10 comes with a 1.5-meter dedicated power cable with an internal silver conductor, chosen for its excellent electrical conductivity.
