The Klimo Beorde is a turntable designed to deliver uncompromising analog playback, combining refined technical solutions with impeccable craftsmanship. Its structure is engineered to eliminate at the root the interferences typical of traditional turntables: decoupling points are placed under the feet, under the platter, and most notably under the spindle, where a calibrated magnetic field allows the spindle–platter assembly to levitate, suspended by magnetic force. This magnetic suspension acts not only as an isolation system but also as direct platter support, replacing once and for all the conventional thrust bearing with ball and oil bath, long considered the main weak point of classic turntables. Instead, an air bearing supports the spindle without generating any mechanical noise, preserving signal integrity and ensuring absolute silence even with heavy-mass platters.

At the heart of the Beorde lies the spindle–platter assembly, suspended by the calibrated magnetic field that enables contactless operation. This design eliminates the need for traditional oil-bath thrust bearings and removes one of the primary sources of noise in conventional machines. The air bearing takes over mechanical thrust, guaranteeing near-silent operation and maintaining the purity of analog reproduction.

The Beorde’s design is never just aesthetic: its forms and materials are chosen to minimize unwanted resonances. Each component, from the structural parts to the smallest fittings, is manufactured with extreme precision and with materials selected solely for their functional effectiveness. The motor, identical to that used in Klimo’s reference model Tafelrunde, ensures flawless performance and rotational stability, giving the Beorde high-level technical features while maintaining a more essential layout.

The Bliant tonearm stands out for its highly innovative design, abandoning both the traditional pivoted and unipivot architectures. Instead, it employs a sophisticated magnetic levitation system for horizontal movement, which decouples the joint and allows the entire arm to float with exceptional smoothness. This approach drastically reduces friction while providing remarkable stability during playback.

The extraordinary arm length, exceeding 13 inches, minimizes tangential error to extremely low levels, ensuring precision tracking even in the innermost grooves, traditionally the most demanding. Its vertical movement, based on a multipivot support system, further enhances overall accuracy, allowing fluid and controlled motion at every stage of playback.

The entire tonearm is engineered to minimize resonances, with multiple decoupling points, especially around the joint, developed to ensure near-zero friction and long-term durability. Thanks to its effective length, tangential error is so greatly reduced that the use of an antiskating mechanism becomes unnecessary, eliminating a source of setup complexity and potential tonal distortion. This design choice aligns with the development of modern cartridges, which use stylus profiles offering a wide contact surface, thereby lowering groove pressure and dramatically reducing friction and wear.

Materials used are self-lubricating and lightweight, ensuring minimal sensitivity to thermal variations, reduced mechanical wear, and enhanced stability over time. These solutions make the Bliant not only highly reliable and precise but also straightforward to set up and operate.
