The Quattro Rush is a meticulously crafted turntable developed with high technical expertise by Aemilia, an Italian company based in Casalecchio di Reno. It represents over ten years of research and development, initially a personal project of a passionate designer and later evolved into a commercial product. This turntable embodies a high-end Italian interpretation, designed to deliver performance comparable to models costing up to three times as much. Each component is carefully selected and rigorously auditioned to achieve a perfect balance between mechanical precision and sonic performance.

The Quattro Rush features a chassis composed of 64 layers of carbon fiber, processed using advanced techniques including high-tonnage pressing, autoclave curing, and CNC finishing, followed by multiple-layer lacquer. The result is a lightweight yet extremely rigid body, 20 mm thick, surpassing even some Formula 1 monocoques. The drive system uses a state-of-the-art EBM Papst motor with digital control and separate units for the motor and control electronics, optimizing vibration distribution. The chassis is made from solid aluminum blocks to maximize useful mass.

Rotation stability is ensured by a belt-drive system with high-precision electronic control based on a professional NXP microcontroller with quartz timing. Dedicated firmware, developed without external libraries and optimized for performance, guarantees intuitive and reliable operation, accessible via physical buttons and a clearly readable alphanumeric display. The oversized motor is carefully balanced to avoid common issues associated with excessive power.

Every detail of the Quattro Rush is designed for durability and quality, from custom stainless steel screws to non-magnetic materials used throughout, except for suspension rings, which are carefully shielded within steel structures. The platter-to-spindle interface employs an innovative conical bearing system with steel balls, held by a calibrated spring and operated via a button, eliminating screw-based systems while ensuring a stable grip. Premium Fomblin D40 lubricant creates a permanent film, guaranteeing smooth operation and protection even under extreme conditions.

The turntable can accommodate up to four tonearms thanks to interchangeable bases made from the same carbon fiber material as the chassis, mounted on solid brass posts with triple rhodium plating, resistant to repeated installation cycles. The Quattro Rush offers analog enthusiasts a listening instrument that combines technical rigor, elegant construction, and innovation, reflecting the finest Italian artisanal tradition.

Graham 2.2 Tonearm

The Graham 2.2 is the ultimate evolution of the celebrated 2.0 tonearm, retaining all the qualities that placed it among the top tier while introducing significant sonic improvements. Its main upgrade is a new, more robust and precise bearing system, paired with a one-piece mounting base and subtle changes to the armwand support block to optimize stability and mechanical transmission.

Sonically, the 2.2 enhances mid-bass, now fuller and better integrated with the bass and midrange, while treble frequencies become smoother, more natural, and less analytical. The arm preserves the fast transient response and micro-detail retrieval of the 2.0 while offering a richer, more fluid, and engaging sound. The soundstage width and depth are also improved, delivering a more open and realistic musical presentation.

The arm retains the innovative 23° tungsten “outriggers” that stabilize motion like a tightrope pole, and azimuth adjustment via tungsten masses ensures proper cartridge tracking in the intended plane. The new locking-collet system and monobloc mounting base provide a solid mechanical anchor to the turntable, minimizing vibrations and improving overall rigidity.
