Starting the turntable is intuitive: the motor is connected to the platter via a thin nylon thread, carefully selected for its sonic properties. Despite its simple appearance, this element is chosen to ensure maximum efficiency in torque transmission. The high-torque motor quickly brings the heavy platter up to speed, while an electronic regulation system ensures absolute rotational stability. A light indicator signals when the optimal speed is reached: green for 33 rpm and red for 45 rpm, selectable via a simple push button.

The interaction between the turntable and its supporting surface is crucial for optimal performance. Although the Classic Wood is designed to provide excellent stability, the use of dedicated vibration control supports can further enhance sonic performance. The addition of isolation pads under the feet and motor demonstrates a significant reduction in unwanted vibrations, improving detail retrieval and soundstage stability.
