Network audio streamer designed to combine digital music file playback, access to major streaming services and management of shared audio libraries within a single component. Compatibility with a wide range of formats and protocols allows various music sources to be used, either through the home network or via storage devices connected directly to the player.

The digital-to-analogue conversion section employs two ESS Sabre32 Ultra DACs, dedicated to handling the audio channels. The unit supports FLAC, WAV and AIFF files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD up to 11.2 MHz. Through the asynchronous USB-B input, PCM file support extends up to 32-bit/384 kHz, allowing direct connection to a computer for high-resolution audio playback.

Network functionality includes DLNA compatibility for playing content stored on computers and NAS devices, as well as access to Tidal, Deezer and TuneIn streaming services. Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast are also integrated, allowing playback to be controlled from compatible devices. Dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, alongside a wired Ethernet connection.

USB support for external hard drives allows music libraries to be played directly without requiring a computer during listening. The FlareConnect multi-room platform also enables audio sources to be shared with other compatible devices connected to the home network, while DTS Play-Fi integration further expands wireless music distribution throughout the home.

The connection panel includes optical and coaxial digital inputs, a USB-B input for connection to a computer and two USB ports for storage devices, one on the front panel and one on the rear. Optical and coaxial digital outputs are complemented by RCA and XLR analogue connections, offering various integration options with amplifiers and external converters.

A 6.3 mm headphone output is also provided on the front panel, powered by a dedicated amplification stage based on the Texas Instruments TPA6120 circuit. The 3.5-inch colour LCD display shows playback information and album artwork, making it easier to browse music content.

The construction features a chassis divided into three internal sections, with separate power supplies for the analogue and digital circuits. This arrangement is designed to minimise interference between the different electronic sections. The entire assembly is housed in a robust chassis designed to accommodate its comprehensive digital conversion and signal-processing circuitry.
