The LAiV Harmony µDAC is directly derived from the Harmony DAC model, sharing its design philosophy and purist approach. This digital-to-analog converter features a fully discrete, balanced R-2R architecture designed to deliver a natural, authentic, and detailed sound. Despite its compact size, the µDAC achieves exceptional performance, supporting ultra–high-resolution signals up to PCM 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD256, ensuring musical reproduction that preserves the full richness and depth of the original recording.

Every aspect of its design is meticulously engineered: precision resistors with a 0.05% tolerance guarantee impeccable signal linearity; Accusilicon AS318 femtosecond oscillators minimize jitter; and the Altera Cyclone IV CPLD chip manages synchronization with absolute precision. The unit also offers the option to connect an external master clock, allowing the most demanding audiophiles to further refine performance.

The output stage, built with discrete components and operating in pure Class A, ensures perfect impedance matching and distortion-free signal delivery, resulting in a smooth, warm, and harmonically rich sound. Galvanic isolation between the digital and analog sections protects the signal path from interference and ground loops, preserving tonal purity in any listening condition.
