WIREWORLD MATRIX 2

Pre owned. Supplied with the original packaging.

Power distributor with six Schuko output sockets and one IEC input, designed to provide a central connection point for multiple audio and video components when an insufficient number of mains outlets is available. The distributor is supplied without a power cable and uses a fully star-wired internal configuration.

The six Schuko sockets and the distribution circuit are housed in an aluminium chassis, which contributes to shielding against RFI and EMI interference. The design is intended to minimise the influence of mains-borne noise and distribute power to the connected equipment through a single unit.

The Matrix 2 can be used with various types of equipment, including DAB tuners and receivers, CD and DVD players, displays, game consoles, PCs, projectors, audio and video sources, and power amplifiers. The manufacturer also recommends using it in combination with its Wireworld Series power cables.

Its compact format allows the distributor to be positioned behind or alongside electronic components, while the supplied adjustable brackets provide different mounting configurations, including rack installation. The bracket arrangement therefore allows the positioning to be adapted to the characteristics of the system and the available space.
