The PS-500V is a revolutionary solution for AC power purification and stabilization, designed to remove noise components from the power line and improve signal quality for audio and video devices. By continuously monitoring the input waveform and applying the necessary compensation, the PS-500V delivers a perfectly regular sine wave, reducing distortion and drastically enhancing the performance of amplifiers, players, and other hi-end or home cinema components. The PS-500V operates using waveform compensation technology: it compares the output voltage with a reference sine wave synchronized to the mains frequency (50/60 Hz) and adds or subtracts the precise amount of voltage needed to achieve a perfectly regular waveform. The power required for this compensation is only a fraction of the total load, allowing the unit to operate efficiently with minimal heat, making it relatively compact and lightweight. Its extremely low output impedance allows any combination of components up to a maximum load of 510 VA without risk of mutual interference, while the absence of oscillators or switching circuits prevents the PS-500V from introducing high-frequency noise.

The unit features an input line filter to remove high-frequency interference already present in the mains, and total separation between the primary and secondary transformer windings, combined with a fully shielded design, further reduces external noise. The PS-500V is equipped with a large 750 VA “Super Ring” toroidal transformer, capable of delivering stable current with low impedance, high efficiency, and compact dimensions. The output stage uses complementary push-pull transistors in a 10-parallel configuration, providing excellent current capability up to 10 A and operational stability even with demanding loads.

The front panel includes a display to monitor in real time the power drawn by connected devices, input and output voltage, and distortion levels, with overload warnings indicated by flashing. The PS-500V also integrates advanced protection circuits that automatically shut off the unit in case of anomalies, safeguarding both the device and connected components.
