The Goldring E1 represents the entry point into the E Series, designed to deliver faithful vinyl reproduction while preserving the creative nuances, musicality, and rhythm intended by the artist. The cartridge is engineered for easy installation on most budget and mid-range turntables, providing accurate sound quality without complications. At the heart of the E1 is a carbon-fiber reinforced cantilever and a bonded spherical stylus (0.6 mil) with a round shank. Carbon proves to be an effective alternative to more premium materials such as aluminum or boron, delivering comparable results in most entry-level hi-fi applications.

The Magnetic Duplex™ technology implemented in the E1 features a dual-magnet generator assembly with geometry identical to that of the original cutting head. This allows for more accurate reproduction of the stereo information in the record groove, improving channel separation and offering a more engaging and musical soundstage. During production, each E Series cartridge undergoes micro-adjustments via a special screw, pre-setting the stylus angle relative to the record. This ensures optimal channel balance without the need for additional horizontal tracking adjustments, guaranteeing consistent and reliable performance throughout the product’s lifetime.
