The Allnic Audio Rose is a next-generation moving coil (MC) cartridge, designed to significantly surpass the Puritas model and deliver a listening experience that satisfies every vinyl enthusiast. Its innovative design and carefully selected materials make the Rose capable of reproducing music with exceptional precision, detail, and musicality.
The Rose’s mechanism is inspired by the cutter head of a record lathe, emulating how the cutter head engraves vinyl grooves, but adapted for playback using a diamond stylus that traces the groove surfaces instead of cutting into the vinyl. This approach ensures superior fidelity in capturing every musical nuance.
The cartridge features two separate hollow polycarbonate coils, unlike traditional iron coils shaped as squares or cross-blocks. Since iron is about nine times heavier than polycarbonate, conventional coils respond less agilely to the grooves, while the Rose’s lightweight design allows for faster and more accurate tracking.
The aluminium cantilever of the Rose includes an optimized pivot: unlike conventional MC cartridges, the coils are positioned closer to the diamond, reducing moving mass and increasing coil vibration capability. The result is a more detailed and dynamic audio reproduction, with enhanced transparency and harmonic richness.
Other distinguishing features include a new rubber damper developed by Allnic Audio, dual CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) coils, and the Fritz Gyger 2 stylus, all engineered to maximize precision, speed, and musicality in vinyl playback. The Rose represents a perfect fusion of advanced technology and engineering design, highlighting every subtlety of analog records.
