The Inspiration Hybrid (Halogen Free) is presented as a next-generation loudspeaker cable from the FUSION series, designed with a hybrid transmission technology that combines high-level audio performance with strong protection against interference. Thanks to its dual-conductor architecture, it performs effectively in bi-wiring and bi-amping configurations as well as in interconnect applications, offering remarkable versatility across different audio systems.
Signal transmission is characterized by a high level of detail and a wide, natural spatial presentation, capable of delivering an open and well-defined soundstage. The cable incorporates an advanced shielding structure against electromagnetic interference, featuring a separate central grounding conductor designed for connection between amplifier and loudspeakers, surrounded by four signal lines arranged in a star-quad configuration around the central ground conductor.
Additional protection against radio-frequency interference is provided by a dense external braided shield, which should be grounded at the amplifier end and left disconnected at the loudspeaker end to ensure proper system behavior. The hybrid technology further embeds the conductors in a conductive layer based on Linear Structured Carbon®, a solution designed to improve signal stability and further reduce background noise.
Both insulation and outer jacket are made of HULLIFLEX® 4, a highly durable material that ensures strong mechanical protection and long-term reliability. The four-signal-line structure also allows the cable to be used in bi-wiring or bi-amping configurations by pairing conductors to form a twin-lead cable with a total cross-section of 2 × 3.94 mm² and a resistance of 2 × 1.4 Ω/100 m, or alternatively as four separate conductors with a cross-section of 4 × 1.97 mm² and a resistance of 4 × 2.8 Ω/100 m, providing maximum installation flexibility and optimized signal routing.
