The Tellurium Q Black II is an evolution of the company's first cable, the Black, the project with which Tellurium Q entered the speaker cable market. During the early stages of development, prototypes were auditioned by various dealers, including direct comparisons with thicker and more expensive cables. These listening tests revealed noticeable differences even within familiar audio systems.
The original Black subsequently received several awards and was adopted by an increasing number of users, but Tellurium Q's experience in cable design and development led the company to further refine the project. The result is the Black II, which retains the approach of the previous model while introducing modifications intended to further improve its performance.
The transition from Black to Black II is conceived as a comprehensive update to the design rather than simply an aesthetic or constructional variation. Tellurium Q considers a direct comparison between the two models to be the most immediate way of appreciating the changes introduced, with the aim of extracting more information from the musical signal and achieving a more complete reproduction within the audio system.
