Van den Hul 3T The Valley is a balanced interconnect cable designed for use in mid-to-high-end hi-fi and audio/video systems, where the goal is to achieve particularly faithful and stable signal transmission. It is positioned as an entry-level solution within the 3T series, while still retaining the advanced technical construction typical of the brand’s audiophile models, ensuring continuity and coherence in signal transfer between sources and amplifiers.

The multi-strand central conductor uses the proprietary 3T technology, based on a specific alloy that is resistant to oxidation and helps preserve the cable’s electrical characteristics over time. Each of the two internal conductors consists of 21 strands of 150 microns, coated with an LSC layer, a solution that improves signal resolution and spatial reconstruction of the soundstage, resulting in a more defined and airy playback.

The balanced configuration uses two conductors with identical transmission properties, ensuring symmetrical signal behavior and greater immunity to interference. In the unbalanced version, the same conductors are used respectively for signal and ground, still optimizing conduction quality and overall transmission stability.

The shielding is built with a multi-layer structure and employs silver-plated copper, with the purpose of effectively reducing external electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. This protection system acts exclusively on suppressing spurious signals, preserving the purity of the audio signal even in electrically complex environments.

The cable features an external halogen-free Hulliflex jacket, characterized by high mechanical strength and aging resistance, with an overall diameter of 7.1 mm and a yellow outer finish that makes identification easier. The overall construction is designed to ensure long-term durability, structural stability, and consistent performance even under intensive use conditions, making it suitable for medium- and high-level audio systems equipped with XLR connections.
