The Audiant DP32 is a high-end Hi-Fi preamplifier with an integrated digital-to-analog converter, designed to combine a fully balanced analogue preamplifier stage with a high-resolution 32-bit DAC in a single chassis. Developed to deliver maximum precision in digital signal conversion, it offers a transparent, natural, and engaging sound reproduction, making it an ideal control center for high-performance audio systems as well as the perfect companion for the Audiant 100P power amplifier.

The digital conversion stage is based on the ESS Technology Sabre ES9018 Reference 32-bit DAC, capable of processing digital signals up to 32-bit/192 kHz through its AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical inputs, while the asynchronous USB interface supports audio streams up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The asynchronous architecture minimizes jitter, contributing to greater signal accuracy while preserving fine detail, micro-dynamics, and the natural presentation of the soundstage.

The fully balanced analogue circuitry is engineered to maintain extremely low noise levels and exceptional signal integrity throughout the entire audio path. The result is a spacious and precisely focused soundstage, outstanding detail retrieval, and a balanced tonal presentation free from harshness, grain, or digital artefacts, delivering a musical performance that remains fluid and engaging.

The DP32 offers a comprehensive selection of analogue and digital connections, allowing seamless integration into a wide variety of audio systems. In addition to balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, it features USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical digital inputs for connecting CD players, streamers, set-top boxes, televisions, and numerous other digital sources. Both balanced and unbalanced preamplifier outputs are provided, together with a dedicated unbalanced Line Out for connection to recording devices or additional audio equipment.

Its versatility is further enhanced by the ability to operate with either fixed or variable output level, allowing the DP32 to function both as a complete preamplifier and as a dedicated standalone DAC connected to an external preamplifier or integrated amplifier. A Home Theatre Bypass mode is also included, enabling straightforward integration into a multichannel home cinema system by bypassing the internal volume control.

The user interface features a clean, contemporary design with a touch-sensitive front panel and a centrally positioned precision-machined aluminum volume control.

The construction reflects careful attention to both aesthetics and mechanical engineering. The robust CNC-machined solid aluminum top panel increases structural rigidity while also improving heat dissipation and minimizing vibrations and resonances that could affect the performance of sensitive internal circuitry.
