The Norma REVO SC-2 is a preamplifier designed to combine elegant construction with sophisticated engineering. Volume control is handled by Norma's exclusive P.D.A.A. (Programmable Digital Analogue Attenuation) system, a proprietary solution that combines the precision of digital control with the purity of analog attenuation. The volume is adjustable in 0.5 dB increments across a wide attenuation range, ensuring exceptional accuracy and perfect channel balance at every listening level.

Input selection is managed by high-quality relays with gold and palladium contacts, completely eliminating integrated circuits from the signal path to preserve maximum audio purity. The analog signal path employs carefully selected components and gold-plated RCA connectors, while both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs and outputs ensure seamless integration with virtually any high-end audio system.

The power supply is one of the defining elements of the design. A toroidal transformer specifically developed for audio applications, featuring low magnetic flux leakage and extremely low mechanical noise, works in conjunction with a high-capacity filtering stage using numerous capacitors to provide a stable, low-impedance power supply capable of responding effortlessly to the dynamic demands of music.

The circuitry adopts a high-speed, ultra-low-noise topology with exceptionally wide bandwidth, allowing the preamplifier to reproduce music with outstanding detail, precision, and neutrality while preserving the natural character of the original recording, even during the most demanding musical passages.
