The Primaluna EVO 200 preamplifier features a handcrafted heavy steel chassis built with top-quality components such as separate toroidal and EI transformers to independently power the right and left channels, ensuring sound reproduction with deep, powerful bass and extended, detailed highs. The tube sockets are made of ceramic, while the volume control relies on a motorized ALPS Blue Velvet potentiometer, renowned for its precision and ability to maintain a stable stereo image even when adjusting the volume. The wiring is point-to-point, meticulously handcrafted with thick cables, and input selection is performed via high-quality sealed relays that guarantee a clean connection free from interference, effectively eliminating any noise from other sources.

The EVO 200 uses a dual-mono design also in the rectification section, with two dedicated 5AR4 tubes and custom sealed toroidal transformers to protect against humidity and ensure long-lasting stability and performance. RCA and XLR connectors are mounted on gold-plated panels, while Nichicon and DuRoch capacitors contribute to signal purity. The preamplifier comes complete with a remote control that allows easy volume adjustment and input selection, making daily use both practical and refined.
