The Lector MLA tube preamplifier, entirely made in Italy, represents a high standard in audio electronics, combining versatility, build quality, and high-level sonic performance. Its most distinctive feature is the patented SATC circuit, which allows the use of different types of dual triodes without any internal modification to the preamplifier, enabling the user to experiment with tubes such as ECC 88, ECC 82, 6BK7, 6CG7, and many others, customizing the sound according to personal preference.

The MLA design shares many similarities with the VP 04 model but significantly improves musical performance, delivering a cleaner, richer, and more detailed sound. The internal components are of the highest quality: the power supply uses premium polypropylene capacitors, the output stage employs handmade MKP film & foil capacitors, RCA connectors are professional-grade and gold-plated, and all internal wiring is made of Teflon/Tefzel to minimize signal loss. The toggle selectors are silver-plated, and to preserve sonic purity, the circuit uses no local or global feedback, ensuring a natural and dynamic output.

The Lector MLA features an optical direct-bias system for the tubes, an internal trimmer to balance channel sensitivity, and a dedicated PHONO-HI input for connecting external modules from the Phono Line Products range, allowing the creation of a fully pure Class A preamplifier system suitable for both MM and MC cartridges.
