The PA-01 features a chassis designed to incorporate a preamplifier section derived directly from the A-2 and A-4 integrated amplifiers, leveraging the expertise developed in the earlier models.

The preamplifier includes a dedicated output with selectable cutoff frequency, allowing it to easily drive an active subwoofer and integrate seamlessly into advanced multichannel or high-fidelity systems. The unit comes with a remote control, providing convenience and direct access to the main functions without the need to operate the front panel physically.
