The Advance Acoustic X-Preamp is a preamplifier with DAC designed to deliver extremely precise and natural musical reproduction. Its updated architecture integrates innovative circuits and optimized schematics, combining all the classic functions of a High-End preamplifier with a modern and elegant design. Thanks to its numerous balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, including an MM phono input, the X-Preamp allows connection of multiple audio sources and easily manages even complex setups.

The digital section relies on a high-quality Burr Brown PCM1796 D/A converter, capable of handling signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz, supporting Coaxial, Optical, and AES/EBU inputs, as well as an asynchronous USB XMOS input that enables high-resolution streaming from PC or MAC without jitter. This allows playback of local audio files or internet streaming with superior fidelity and detail, providing a complete Hi-Fi listening experience. The preamplifier also features a tone control that can be used as a balance, with the option to bypass the circuit to preserve signal purity, and comes with a remote control for convenient operation from a distance.

Technically, the X-Preamp offers a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.05% and a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 105 dB, with an input sensitivity of 250 mV. Connections to amplifiers or speakers are made via RCA connectors, while standby power consumption is only 0.5 W. With the recommended use of XLR balanced cables such as the ACS10 for connection to the X-A160, the X-Preamp serves as a reliable and versatile central hub for reference audio systems, delivering detailed, dynamic, and musical sound, ideal for the most demanding audiophiles.
